The new thing in the house (besides Abby starting to play every sport ever) is binoculars which Mom bought for five dollars at half-priced books. They aren't even good binoculars, but everyone (meaning two kids) seem to really enjoy them.
Abby generally likes to tell us how she "sees a baby bird trying to fly" even though we're driving in a car and she is watching this "bird" for a solid 2 mile span. Ben is less descriptive, given that he still isn't real good at talking, but today Sarah woke up from a mid-day nap to him looking at her through the binoculars from about 6 inches away. I wish we had video of it.
