- Not walking yet, but crawling and standing. Originally his crawl involved one leg doing a normal crawl while one tried to walk without using the knee and using the foot instead. Like a half bear crawl/half normal crawl that ended up somehow looking like a three-legged dog. Yes, it was bizarre, but effective. Now he's upgraded to a full on bear crawl, at least about half the time.
- He's got a few words down at this point, although they're mostly just single syllables or single syllables repeated. We've got Da, Ma, Ab (abby), Ba (ball), and Go. Abby and Ball he's nailed, while Da and Ma usually are used to refer to either Me or Mom, but are kind of used interchangeably. And Go is just his all purpose word. - Speaking of balls, that's by far his favorite thing to play with. Whether it's putting them in the little kid hoop (which he figured out on his own) or throwing them and then chasing them down and then doing it again (much like a kitten) he loves balls. Phones and remotes and anything electronic he shouldn't touch is a definite #2 on the list, and he's actually attacking the computer as I type right now. Actually, here's what he'd like to say:
